re/works by Epidemic Sound arrives in the U.K. with Ross From Friends

The global artist series continues with its first U.K. release, as Ross From Friends reworks ‘I’m Summer’ for creators, brands, and fans worldwide.

Stockholm, Sweden, June 26, 2026 – Epidemic Sound, the world's leading soundtracking platform powering over 3.5 billion video views daily across TikTok and YouTube, today announces the first release in the U.K. edition of re/works by Epidemic Sound, its global artist series inviting celebrated musicians to reimagine tracks from the company's wholly-owned catalog.

The first release in the UK edition is from Ross From Friends, the British producer and DJ born Felix Clary Weatherall, with a rework of Epidemic Sound track 'I'm Summer’ by Zorro, first performed at Epidemic Sound’s re/works event at SXSW London earlier this month. The track is available today on all major streaming platforms and to Epidemic Sound’s global community of creators and brands, joining a catalog of over 55,000 tracks and 250,000 sound effects, all 100% IP-owned and available for use across every channel and platform.

The U.K. edition

re/works by Epidemic Sound launched in February 2026 with a flagship Swedish edition. A single track from that edition, 'Echo (Kerstin Ljungström rework)', has reached 170 million views on TikTok and 57 million views on YouTube alone. re/works is an ongoing international initiative that gives artists a new way to shape and extend the life of music. Each edition reflects the creative identity of a different music scene, with the U.K. the next chapter in the series.

“If you listen to "I'm Summer", the song itself is very different to the stuff that I make, but I could tell the vocal hook was just brilliant and I knew there was something in that.” said Ross From Friends, “The fact that it will live inside the Epidemic Sound platform and reach creators I might never have connected with otherwise is genuinely exciting to me. It is a different kind of reach."

"The U.K. has always been where dance music reinvents itself - from acid house to jungle to garage - and that spirit of constant evolution is something Ross From Friends carries forward in his own way," said Anna Rude, SVP Music at Epidemic Sound. "He's deeply rooted in that lineage but completely his own. Launching the U.K. edition of re/works with him felt right: he understands both the tradition and the freedom to push past it."

The U.K. re/works by Epidemic Sound edition will continue with further releases to be announced.
