Stockholm, Sweden – Epidemic Sound, the soundtracking platform for content creation, announced today that the company has received the Great Place to Work certification for the second consecutive year. The certificate is given to companies based on research and analysis through the Trust Index Model™ survey, carried out by Great Place To Work®, the global authority on workplace culture. The survey measures 60 statements among employees on how they experience their relationship with the leadership, the company, their colleagues, and how they view their own role and work. It looks into focus areas known to drive company performance and employee wellbeing; credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie.
The survey findings show that 80% of Epidemic Sound employees consider the company to be a great place to work. The results show that employees are proud to tell others they work at the company, feel a sense of pride in the work they accomplish, are given a lot of responsibility, feel like they make a difference, and rate the company as a fun place to work. The results also show that employees experience a workplace culture where employees care for each other, feel that they can be themselves, and a workplace with high degrees of physical and psychological safety.
“We’ve continued to put in a lot of work into making Epidemic Sound an engaging and sustainable workplace and we’re thrilled to see this reflected through the Great Place to Work certification. We are happy to see that our employees continue to view Epidemic Sound as an inclusive and healthy workplace, whilst also feeling like it’s a fun place to work where they receive a lot of responsibility and feel like they make a difference”, said Maria Waddington, Chief People & Culture Officer at Epidemic Sound.
