Epidemic Sound Appoints Lars Torstensson as Head of Investor Relations and Communications

Stockholm, Sweden – Epidemic Sound today announces it has appointed Lars Torstensson as Head of Investor Relations and Communications to strengthen ongoing relationships with the financial community and continue to build the company’s global media presence. Lars starts on 1st June 2022 and will report to Sara Börsvik, Chief Financial Officer at Epidemic Sound.

Lars joins from Modern Times Group MTG AB, where he has been part of the executive management team as CFO and EVP Communications & Investor Relations. In this role he has been a pivotal part of the transformation of MTG into one of Europe’s leading mobile gaming companies, through the pursuit of a successful Buy & Build strategy and the execution of the pivotal sales of the largest independent esports company, ESL Gaming.

Prior to joining MTG, Lars served as Chief Communications Officer at Swedish listed consulting company Sweco AB and has held executive communications, investor relations, strategy and business development positions at Gelato AS and Tele2 AB. He previously worked at Swedbank Robur and Handelsbanken Asset Management.

The news follows Epidemic Sound’s latest round of fundraising completed in March 2021.
