Impact
We will grow with a low impact
As a digital platform, our climate footprint is predominantly in Scope 3, arising from our extensive value chain. We are dedicated to working with key stakeholders to develop and implement impactful strategies for reducing these indirect emissions.
Epidemic Sound joined the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in 2023 and submitted and received approval of its near-term climate targets in 2025. This milestone confirms that Epidemic Sound’s climate ambitions are aligned with the latest climate science.

We are committed to empowering our artists with essential tools, knowledge, and resources to fully realize their potential.
We have an established framework for equitable artist remuneration, grounded in transparency and fairness. We believe that equal opportunities such as remuneration will attract a diverse pool of artists who can create an equally diverse pool of sound.
We are dedicated to evolving our operational methodologies to integrate emerging technologies, such as AI, in collaboration with our artists.
Protection of music
Music is at the core of our business and when we acquire music our artists trust us with their creations, and we want to uphold that level of trust. We have gone beyond legal requirements in adding prohibitions to where our music can be used, these can be found in our license terms.

We are dedicated to ensuring creators using our soundtracking platform can freely manifest their vision, unconstrained by limitations or the risk of content restriction and monetization challenges. Through active engagement in new legislation we aim to continue evolving the music industry, in our way.
