The Yard Woman drops vibrant new single “Bubblegum”

Stockholm, May 19, 2025 – Epidemic Sound, the world’s leading soundtracking platform, proudly announces the release of Bubblegum, the brand-new track from one of the company’s most boundary-pushing electronic artists, The Yard Woman.
Greek-born and London-based DJ and producer Elena Persaud, aka The Yard Woman, is no stranger to eclectic inspiration — from hyperpop to metal, electro-swing to melodic techno. Bubblegum delivers a kaleidoscope of sounds and feminine energy, channeling intuition, bold rhythms, and unapologetic fun into every track.
The Yard Woman has become a fan-favorite across dancefloors from Village Underground to SXSW, and Bubblegum continues her mission to create “anthems for bad kids running wild, wreaking havoc with a smirk.”
Mentored by electronic legend Richie Hawtin and winner of the Tomorrowland competition, her music has been consistently supported by BBC Radio 1. Her releases have found a home on Simulate, Einmusika, Running Clouds, and Pets Recordings, receiving plays from artists like Massano, Nora en Pure, Hot Since 82, David Lindmer, The Element, and Catz ‘n Dogz, among others. With Bubblegum fans can expect detuned grooves, gritty basslines, and experimental flair that remains deeply personal.
“Feminine energy for me is intuitive, sensual, and deep,” said The Yard Woman. “When I DJ or produce, I’m inviting the crowd into an exchange — not just delivering a set, but creating a world.”
The Yard Woman has worked with Epidemic Sound since 2024 and her music has amassed more than 116 million views on YouTube and 35 million views on TikTok, proving a strong positioning in the creative community.
Bubblegum is available now on all major streaming platforms. Stay tuned for her next single, “Drink Me, Shrink Me,” dropping this summer. Watch The Yard Women’s SXSW 2025 DJ set here.
