Stockholm, Sweden, March 5, 2025 – Epidemic Sound, the world’s leading soundtracking platform, has been recognized as one of Europe’s fastest growing companies in the Financial Times’ annual FT1000 ranking. The list, created together with data provider Statista, ranked companies based on their compound annual growth rate (CAGR) between 2020 and 2023.
This marks the fourth time Epidemic Sound has made the list, doing so with total net sales of SEK 1,478 million in 2023 and a CAGR of 37% across the three year period.
“We’re delighted to once again be recognized by the Financial Times as one of Europe’s fastest growing companies,” commented Sara Börsvik, CFO at Epidemic Sound. “Alongside strong, consistent revenue growth across this period, we also became EBITDA profitable in 2023, meaning we’re in an excellent position as a business. I’m incredibly proud of all our amazing artists, content creators, employees, partners, and backers for helping us make this happen.”
Epidemic Sound’s inclusion on the 2025 list marks sustained growth for the Swedish Unicorn, which was also recently named as one of Europe’s Long-Term Growth Champions by the Financial Times.
