Epidemic Sound nominates Co-Founder Hjalmar Winbladh as Chairperson to further accelerate AI-driven growth

Stockholm, Sweden, November 20, 2025 – Epidemic Sound, a music tech company and the leading soundtracking platform for creators and brands, today announces the nomination of a new composition of its Board of Directors in which Co-Founder and tech entrepreneur, Hjalmar Winbladh, will rejoin as Chairperson. Winbladh is a seasoned Swedish entrepreneur and investor with a proven track record of founding and scaling multiple technology companies to international success. Over the past two decades, he has co-founded and led ventures such as Sendit, Rebtel, and Epidemic Sound, combining deep technological insight with strategic acumen to drive sustainable growth and innovation. His background spans early-stage company building, venture capital, and corporate innovation, establishing him as one of the most influential figures in the Nordic startup ecosystem.

The new Board of Directors will be constituted by Hjalmar Winbladh (Chairperson), Victor Englesson (representing EQT), Nicolas Dupuis (representing Blackstone), Birgit Haderer (independent), and Jan Zachrisson (representing the founders). As part of this transition, Board Directors Andrew Fisher, Kirsten Wolberg, and Adrienne Gormley will step down.
